The First Responder’s Helmet Cooling System
Hot weather patrolling or battling a raging fire can raise cockpit temperatures well in excess of of 100°F. High helmet temperatures cause discomfort and can significantly compromise safety.
The KoolPilot system was successfully developed from the knowledge and experience gained from the cooling systems developed for the NASCAR racing teams. KoolPiolot is a thermoelectric cooling system for airborne fire operations, law enforcement crews, and medical/rescue teams who experience extreme temperatures and contaminated air.
The KoolPilot operates by drawing ambient cabin air through an internal filter system and then through the solid-state thermoelectric cooling core. The cooled air is fed to the helmet through an insulated hose.
In the heat of battle, cooler heads always prevail.
Features:
Lower Temperatures
Reduces helmet temperature up to 30°F.
No Freon
Advanced technology, developed for NASA and the military, eliminates unreliable freon-based systems.
